Built for Florida Hacks with IBM — a carbon emissions tracking app that lets users estimate, log, and reduce their personal footprint across common activity categories (transportation, energy, consumption). IBM Cloud services handled the backend-ish parts of the prototype within the hackathon format.
One of my earliest full-stack projects. The interesting part in retrospect isn’t the code — it’s that emission-factor datasets are messy enough that reasonable numbers took real effort to assemble, and the resulting UX questions (what does a kilogram of CO₂ feel like, to the user?) are still unsolved in every serious tracker I’ve used since.
